[Coco] CoCoSDC performance issue - can someone try this from OS-9?

I have done a full low level format of my 8GB Sandisk SD card (using the sdformatter tool) and put my .DSK images back on it.

I boot in to OS-9, and do the following:

ded os9boot — edit os9boot
L d0 — link to d0 module inside
O /dd/test — open /dd/test file for output
A — append displayed sector to the file
C — close the file
Q — quit

At the “A”, the SDC light blinks for almost 30 seconds before it returns control. I thought maybe there was some weird fragmentation or something going on, so I did the SD format/copy to get it all cleaned back up. Same issue.

Doing it to “/r0/test” is immediate.

Can someone give these steps a try on theirs and see what you get?
