I can't speak to the new build, but this is the exact behavior seen in the 
problem build.  Trying to format /sd0 or /sd1 will generate a 208 and trying 
to format any other device generates a 247.  Try formatting /sd0 or /sd1 and 
see if it gives you a 208.  If it does, you probably have the unfixed build.
