I'll third that reaction.  The only time it takes longer is when I have 
the listing turned on, saving it to a file so I can locate where things 
went aglay.  That does take 20 some minutes to a file, and nearly a hour 
to the screen as I'm not using the nvidia driver.

Without that listing, I can hg clone and build the 3 projects from scratch 
in well under 10 minutes. My network dl speed is only 010 megabaud.
