Using Robert's idea on using HDBDOS mode in DW4 to "find" files on disks, you could also write a program in basic that would read the contents (DIR) of each disk and save the list to a text file therefore catalogging up to 256 disks at a time.

If you have RGBDOS or HDBDOS, you should also have the Basic utility program
FINDFILE.BAS. That program will search through all 256 Basic drives on a .vhd
disk looking for a file name.
The program could easily be used with Drivewire4 in HDBDOS mode to search
through .dsk images mounted on DW4.
