James, Gary's QT port is not part of the "official" VCC GitHub site. It's actually in his own personal repository, though I imagine if he gets something working he'll contribute it. He usually does.
The official site has only 3 branches:

Original Masters - Original 1.42 VC 6 sources
Master - Current release sources
VCC 1.200b - experimental sources (currently up to date with the master)
