[Coco] "I had a Dream".

Hi,

no one has reported a full download from archive.com yet.

There are several steps to be done first before a database can be generated.

Are you volunteering to be the project leader?

I am a little confused, are you ready to display the database records I can generate. It sounds like you can along with similar data from RTSI and other places.

If yes, I will make a test file ready from the ROTROD project.

That is separate from making a MM mirror available and organizing CoCo MM files.

The owner of the archive is the CoCo community I expect, that is what Dean said for the http://www.os9projects.com/ archive.

Dennis does have control of what is on his site and that is where lots of work needs to be done to make the files be in reasonable places. But not on his site, a copy would replace the existing mess (DUMP) after the messy work is done.

PM me if you do not understand.

SHF

Only a few bigones, as I think the big robots have done their site-sucking work. What's really needed is someone to organize it. I had a person who started itand then stopped. Now it's hung up as half-organized with duplicates and awhoppin pile of new submissions. It really needs work -- there is duplicate content but almost no actualduplicate material. What I mean is that there are various scans, images andPDFs of the same documents. I think those should all be kept because theirvarious sizes and qualities are valuable in any archive.Meanwhile, if anyone has the energy to follow this through, I'll be happy togive that person access to do it. But I'm interested in someone serious who isnot going to give up. Another half-finished organization will only be worse.DennisOn Sun, December 20, 2015 11:43 am, Stephen H.
