[Coco] OT: download manager

Barry, I'm just downloading regular links. I have a good torrent client as well as an FTP manager, but neither is good for regular downloads.
I installed a download manager plugin for Firefox last night that works really well, it allows a "one click" to download everything on a page/site (including the webpage if I want), but it has no timer feature which is what I really need... staying up until 2:00 AM every night/morning to start a download then making sure I'm up by 7:00 to stop it get's a bit tiresome.
I find most servers these days will allow you to continue a download, though I know some do not.
I need to look through the Firefox plugins again and see if there's one with a timer. I really like the 3rd party plugins for Firefox.. Only approved plugins from the Mozilla site though.

In order to resume a download, the sending server must support that functionality, and unfortunately, not all do. What are you downloading? Is a bit torrent client a possibility?I have not used either of these, but I found these on a search:https://sourceforge.net/projects/xdman/This is open source and GPL licensed.http://www.chronodownloader.net/This is for google chrome.> Bill Pierce ooogalapasooo at aol.com > Sat Dec 19 01:16:11 EST 2015> > Does anyone know of a good (read free) download manager for Windows that's doesn't have a bunch of ads with it?> I need to schedule downloads between 2:00 AM & 7:00 AM (free bandwidth time) and be able to resume partial downloads each night.> > Thanks :-)-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
