[Coco] FW: My EEPROM/Flash multicart holy grail??

The current version I have does this in

32K = 0.0559375 seconds or 55.93mS.16K = 0.02796875 seconds or 27.97mS.  8K = 0.013984375 seconds or 13.98mS.
Also the Xmega will be doing DMA in to the CoCo's memory. Not there yet on this one, slight logic change on the memory control. Slow? Relative term........ :)

I thought about that a while back, but loading the 32K images from SD card would be slow would it not?

Skip the giant EEPROM and just make a 32K RAM board.  Have your arduino load the ROM files from an SD card and put it in the RAM for the CoCo to access. Then you can have GIGABYTES of ROM images and no need for a chip programmer.
