You DO know, with Dell, you have access to download ALL the pre-loaded software.
Go to the Dell.com support site, go to downloads, and there's links there for it.

This way you can selectively install what you do and do not want from the preload.

I'd make a list of the other missing programs that you badly need, and give
them a call to see if they'd supply those before demanding a refund.  Maybe
they simply weren't sure what software was originally installed and sent
DVDs of what they figured was most likely that you needed.
