Yes, as I recall OrCad has always been on the pricey side. I still have
my old DOS copy of it. There were some guys that broke away from OrCad
I believe who wrote the WinDraft/WinBoard duo from Ivex. I did a number
of boards with that package however I always had to give the board house
a note about the fact that the Gerber files always ended up with the
design in a strange quadrant or something like that. Nowadays there are
free Gerber viewers/manipulators.
