Sorry for resurrecting a thread that is several days old. I remember the
Apogee games as well - it looks like they are still available from a
website called "3D Realms" (www.3drealms.com), for reasonable prices. Many
of the ones I remember (Monster Bash, Major Stryker, Commander Keen, etc)
are there. Looks like they even have an anthology set of about 30 of them
for $40. Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone else was interested.
While I'm thinking about it, Soleau software also produced a number of
puzzle type DOS games. http://www.soleau.com/dosgame.html
I remember Ant run, Oil cap, Ladder man,, there were a bunch of fun ones.
You should be able to run most of these via DOSBox.
