[Coco] OS-9 loading NEW WAY

I don't think that's fair. In the case of CocoBoot, we got a few messages
saying it was under development, and not finished yet.

I don't understand what kind of reaction you want from the list?

I know bupkis about OS-9/NitrOS-9, and frankly the messages you all post
about the difficulties in just formatting and copying a bootable disk scare
me off of trying to learn it. I applaud anyone who is tring to make using
NitrOS-9 easier. I am patiently waiting for that day to arrive.

If I had the money to fund some developers, I'd develop the following:

- A new disk formatter/copier utility that works in 64k/128k/512k systems.
And as there is more memory, it uses the available memory to work faster.
- A new utility to make creating a boot disk easy.
- Do a pass through the 6309 version to tighten code and speed things up to
make NOS9 faster and leave more memory in lower RAM machines.
- Do a 6809 Coco2 NOS9 that took advantage of that 128k mod people have been
talking about. (I'd fund creating a board/kit if I had the money)
- A utility to easily add/remove device drivers and descriptors for making
custom systems.

Now, I know a lot of this is being worked on. I'm waiting to see when these
will be done, released, and usable by an NOS9 noob like me.

Other than putting on a cheerleading outfit and waving some pom-poms (and
nobody wants to see that), I don't know what else to do.

This happens sometimes and is unfortunate. The noise on the list can
drown out the folks actually creating new things and making stuff happen.
Brett is one of the guys who makes stuff happen :)
