I'm in the same boat there Bill. I have no experience with Y connectors. I
don't even have a MPI. I was hoping Kandur knew or someone else would chime
in with some clarification.

Chad.
I really don't know much about these things, but wouldn't tying an eprom on
the same lines with another cart (exmpl: disk controller) make the 2 carts
conflict with each other?
Cart with no roms would probably not matter, but something like a disk
controller or Orch90 that has a rom, it seems it would cause conflicts.
Again, I know little of how this works.

Kandur, Is this what you need??
http://www.mediafire.com/watch/tjwkwtiifl2a8wd/3D_Render_(Experimental_Y-Car
d_Edge).mp4
(Note the 40 pin connector marks, 1 to 1 arrangement) Not all of the 40 pins
were used by the EPROM, but all 40 are tied together with each card edge.
It will just be a couple of bucks more per board to do this that's all.

So far, I've been ordering them in sets of 3 from OSHPark. That's the
minimum order. I am charged per square inch. If the PCB doesn't need to be
lengthened, the price won't change. I could theoretically delete the open
notch at the top of the PCB and replace with the card connector. This
should work well if the PCB won't be in a cartridge housing. Not sure how
it would effect things if it's mounted in a cartridge.
I usually order another set once my last one has been sold. Turn around
time is 2-3 weeks. I can design and order a sample set and see how it turns
out.

Sounds perfect.
How would that effect the price and
when will you order the next run?
