The Bottom Line is that the latest FTDI Drivers, change the "Fake 
Device's" Product IDentifier, ( PID ) to '0' ( Zero ), which causes the 
Device to not match the Installed Drivers..

The Temporary Un-Brick, has you modify the .INF File to have a PID Zero, 
so that you can use FTDI's Utility to change it back to something that 
will work with your drivers.
