[Coco] I am back to not being able to format a floppy, help plz

Greetings all;
If you have a nitros9 l2 system that can format a floppy without locking
up, I need to see the smap, vfy -x format, and ident -m rb1773 outputs.
Here, format is whats being built by yesterdays pull and build.

I think the floppy driver, rb1773 is a likely candidate. Format itself,
using this 2 command line from the mb.l3 script:
format %1 "NitrOS9v329sd2.1 lvl 3 Boot" R
yyy
works flawlessly. But it is not using rb1773 that I know of.
Formatting a floppy may step the drive 15 to 20 times, but more often once
or twice and the machine is frozen, 100% of the time. I thought Robert
Gould had fixed this quite some time back?
Ideas?
