hi, just make a copy of yours, the rom is on your board, and a BASIC program can read it with variable = HEX(peek(address)).
you find this code in the coco archives.
I have a coco 3, and not shure my extended basic rom part is the same for coco2.
have fun

No, short white box, 16k machine
The machine was sold on ebay as "New Used" (and later on the page "never
used")
But I have some doubt about that :)
Any idea where I can find an extended basic rom image ?
I found some rom on colorcomputerarchives.com but
There are no real description of the content of rom images

64k Coco 2 came out (manager's special $69). I think they were getting rid
of some surplus parts. It was of the "8 chip upgrade" variety. The chips had
to be desoldered and replaced, so I never did upgrade it because I didn't
have the skills. I soon after got a 64k Coco 2.

Amazing Tandy kept selling Color Basic. I'm glad it was finally put to rest
for the CoCo3.
8 chip upgrade? This must have been the long white case CoCo2.
