[Coco] Speedup pokes (was) coco 2 vs coco 3

Are you guys mistaking the "POKE65497,0" with "POKE65495,0" on the Coco 1 & 2?
There is a big difference between the two. Even though it was always said that some machines "may" be able to handle the 65497 poke and retain video, in all my years of Cocoing and having seen hundreds of Coco 1s & 2s at various Coco gatherings and our local Coco club meetings, and I have NEVER seen one handle the speed up poke and retain video. I have seen a few that would completely crash though. I have even seen one or two crash using POKE65495,0 as well.
I have a Coco 1 (F-Board chicklet keys) and a Coco 2 (melted keys) and have owned 5 other Coco2s including a 2b, but none would retain video after poking 65497,0.

At one point or another, I have run "Bells & Whistles 2" (a music composition program featured in Rainbow) on all my Cocos and B&W2 utilizes the "POKE65497,0" to achieve it's highest possible frequency playback (Fast Play). During play in this mode, they've all (except the Coco 3s) lost video until playback is done when the poke is reset.
Just "POKE65497,0" and see if you still have video...

Even XRoar emulates this phenomenon, though not all that acurately as far as the display during the poke.

Likewise. If memory serves, even with my Coco 1...
