Roy,

First, while late, let me congratulate you on your retirement; have fun, 
and enjoy yourself - you've earned it!

Regarding the converter:

I ordered and received one of them many moons ago (heck, it might have 
been a 5 years ago for all I remember). I haven't used it much since 
that time, but I am glad I have it.

What I am wondering, though, is whether the design has changed since 
then, or if it has remained (mostly?) the same? Also, if it has, would 
those changes be difficult to incorporate in the old units?

I'm just curious more than anything.
