My CoCo3 at home IS a 512K PAL CoCo3 (They're all PAL here in Australia).

No problems with mine whatsoever.

I wish we had time to try moving the Triad to the 128K system where the 
CoCoSDC was working fine. This would have narrowed thing down a bit.

He did have that annoying long wait before he could power up again.

I wonder if it has anything to do with that late generation CoCo3? I'll 
suggest to him to try moving the Triad to the 128K CoCo3.
