Bob & Nick, here's my "xroar.conf" file for the Coco2b using becker port and dw4.

-machine-arch cocous
-machine-cpu 6809
-tv-type ntsc
-ram 64k
-vdg-type 6847t1
-kbd-translate
-joy-right mjoy0
-becker
-becker-ip 127.0.0.1
-becker-port 65508

Of course to run without dw4, just eliminate the last 3 lines.
The "-kbd-translate" is to use the PC keyboard as "normal", if you want the Coco emulated keys, eliminate that. I like the PC keys for quick access to { } / \ | [ ] etc, for C coding.
The "-joy-right mjoy0" is for using the PC mouse for the right joystick port.

I don't use the windows binaries from Ciaran's Dragon page, I use the binaries from the FTP with the GTK libraries that give the full menu bar. You have to download and install the GTK libraries yourself.... OR, you just download the "XRoar Starter Kit" from my website and do a "one click" pre-configured installation, complete with a NOS9 VHD.

If you already have dw4 installed, uncheck it in the installation list.
Warning.... these are pretty large downloads of about 125meg due to including VHDs and PDF manuals
