Kadur,
I've looked at your startup file and made some tests with the MESS emulator set
for 128k memory. I've used the nightly build floppy disks
nos96809l2v030300coco3_40d_1.os9
and made one change to the startup file. I added as a first line
-x
which keeps the file running in spite of any errors.
Boot returns a 207 error which means that there is insufficient memory with 128k
to run a standard NitrOS-9 boot disk.
This thread has suggested that you use a "headless" disk which is why I though
you had Drivewire. You are not going to be able to boot correctly with "nightly
build" disks with 128k of memory. You will either need to get more memory or
reduce the OS9Boot file to a bare minimum.
So, the reason you can't get startup to run correctly is the small amount of
memory in your Coco.
