Sorry, Bob, I have forgotten how to do all that. (My brain doesn't work as

Bill,

Can you check the first two bytes at $C000 when the HDBDOS ROM is inserted? 
They should be $444B(68, 75 decimal). If that's not what you get, your ROM
is bad.
