[Coco] FD-502 dual drive system on eBay (not mine)

It may have been me. I've been trying to get a disk system together, but my current budget doesn't permit spending $150 on it. If it did, I'd buy one from Cloud-9. :P On the bright side, I did manage to get two of the old style boxes with a single, full-height drive in them for a bit more than $20 each. That will do, though I'd like one of the two drive boxes at some point. If I'm very lucky, at least one of these boxes has had a double-sided drive put in. If not, I'll still need to find one of those. In a separate endeavor, I purchased a TEAC high-density drive for about $12 and I think I've tricked it into operating in quad-density mode. I have an external enclosure salvaged from an old CD burner which should be able to run it. It doesn't match the CoCo stuff, visually, but the CoCo shouldn't be able to tell the difference. :)
I do wish people didn't pay nearly so much for those two drive things. Honestly, I've begun to wonder whether I could convert one of the single drive boxes to hold two half-height drives. Not sure if they'd mount properly in the case, and have no idea whether the power supply would be sufficient.
Also, I still think "American Pickers" sounds like a reality TV show about bluegrass music festivals.
