Can it be some kind of « power pollution » ? Some devices eat current in a
quite nonsmooth way, and this disturbs the current that other devices can
get from the same set of power outlets.

I have my Coco 3 set up using a UPS at our cabin. It tends keep a steady
power supply even when there is a lot of line noise and fluctuation. It's a
small cabin, but the electric supply can be affected every time the well
pump or the refrigerator comes on. After connecting the UPS, I've had no
more "weird" stuff happen to my system. Give it a try.
