[Coco] CoCo 1/2 to VGA?

The final issue of Color Computer Magazine has a composite circuit for for
Coco 2 which uses a MC1372. At first glance it appears to essentially be
the MC1372 circuitry/connections from the Coco 1 schematic, but with the
composite output circuit from the VDG data sheet. Which is exactly how I
was planning to do it prior to reading that article.

It is certainly much more complicated that the simple Coco 1 circuit
originally from Hot Coco (has anyone tried this, and if so, how is the
quality?) but it does not seem too bad.
