Tormod,
I will do a pull later and see how it goes. I figured the "218"s could be ignored as that's "File Already Exists", so if it's there, it doesn't need copying.
I beginning to think my "out of resources" is a Vista 64 bit VS Cygwin 32 bit problem. I can "make" again and it finishes the errored files so it's not too bad. Just slow
I'm getting ready to do a complete reinstall of my Windows system as this one is the same as it came from the Manf. I have so much junk on here it needs a good cleaning. Once I do this, I'll be setting up VMWare (again) and setting up a Linux install just for working with the repo.
The document I was sending to Bob got sent publicly by accident. It was supposed to be private. But as I said, most was from the wiki, some from your's and other's comments. I find kepping a local copy of "notes" much easier than web pages. My connection really sucks and it takes too long to load a page to get one cmd line. A more thorough guide needs to be done as the wiki is kind of general to people who are familiar with working in this realm. Newcomers have a hard time figuring out what is being referred to from "general" statements.
We need detailed and informative guides on:
Building the repo (Windows, Linux & Mac)
Building an OS9 bootdisk
Installing Drivewire/HDBDOS from scratch
Using Drivewire/HDBDOS
I was working on a couple of these but got sidetracked into programming stuff for DW once I started reading the spec and what it could be made to do :-)
