Boisy,
A good friend of mine has been encouraging me to get into Atmel AVR
Technology a few of years ago. At the time, I had not got back to playing
with my old coco hardware much less running any emulators. Heck, I did not
even know that all you guys were even still using your cocos much less
having a lot of fun with them. :) Your ArdunioCoco project is very
intriguing indeed! With that little thing the possibility exists to have
everything actually in a coco case! That would be really interesting. I'll
be following your ArdunioCoco project development with great interest. Keep
up the great work. By the way, what kind of project around Cloud-9 have you
and Mark been up to. Anything Interesting for us all?! I unintentionally
bought an Ardunio board several years ago when I thought I was ordering a
set of robotic legs, but when it arrived, all I got was an Ardunio board!
I was not happy; one, I did not get my robotic legs to play with, two, I did
not know what the heck this little board was nor what I could do with it so
I put it away in a safe place. Oops! Bad move. More on that in a minute.
:) Now, spin the time machine forward a few years. I have since seen a lot
of interesting projects people have done with the Ardunio and now the Mega
boards, so I went out to the warehouse in our back yard to get that little
board out so I could play with it and get use to the development environment
since it's Free! Well, I couldn't find it! It sure is safe, even from me!
Now you are actually doing something with the Mega board that we all can
relate to. More power to you, Boisy! Have Fun with it, and do let us all
know what you eventually come up with. I, myself, usually have difficulty
coming up with any ideas to work on. The only thing I've done so far since
I've been back in the microprocessor arena is begin developing an actual
physical 6809 based microcomputer which I'm still working on, but things are
kind of on hold as many other things keep getting in the way of me
continuing that project. I will ultimately Prevail! I'll let you go
for now. Take care and Happy ArdunioCocoing!

Great! I was thinking about something similar a while ago.
