David et All,
Disregard my previous message. The fix David did does work. When I
downloaded Drivewire 4 version 4.3.1, I neglected to run config first to
match my serial port connection.
After doing that, David your fix did work with it.
I am in a current position that I have to write everything down in steps and
then follow them.
It is not easy but success has been had thanks to all esp David who has
replied and assisted me.

David,
I am not having any luck yet. Either I am doing something wrong or there is
something amiss on my FPGA setup.
In DECB the FPGA works flawlessly.
I deleted the NOS9 L2 Becker from my directory and re-downloaded the
nitros9project.zip and extracted the modified NOS9 L2 Becker and tried it
both in Drivewire 4 4.3.0 and Drivewire 4 4.3.1.
Now it does not even load the banner and time. It does nothing when DOS is
typed from the FPGA except in a little time errors out with I/O error.
I apologize for appearing to be mentally lame but I am trying my best to get
this to work.
John

Ok I just went through and found that the rules.mak file in the repo was
creating the dw3 and becker boot disks as 80 track double sided floppies so
the boot loader was in the wrong location. I changed it to a single sided
format and tested the NOS9 L2 becker boot disk and seems to work ok
So you should be able to re-download the zip file from the link that was
given earlier and try the image that matches your CoCo3FPGA.
