Got a new 60" LCD TV, and so I decided to try my laptop on it, which led to
running VCC

Sorry I didn't take a lighted room picture to show the scale, since it's
just the screen, but my speakers are in the lower corners.

I then took out a tape measure.  A single pixel of text was .4 cm.  The
blinking cursor was nearly 1.25 inches wide!


Nice. I'm jealous l;-)
