[Coco] SuperIDE backup/restore

I made some advances, but there is still a bigger mystery.

I have two cards: the "good" (256MB) and the "evil" (512MB)

I wrote every sector of the good card with sequential data ("DISK# TRACK#
SECTOR#")
Then I verified reading with DSKI$ every sector of the disk. All OK.

I "dd"ed it to a file and "dd"ed it back to the "evil" card. (I used the
block size as 512. if=xxx.img of=/dev/disk3 bs=512)
Plugged it on the coco and verified every sector. All OK. So the backup was
perfect!

Then I DDed the Luis' card image on the evil card with the same command. I
got corrupted disks. BTW, the image works on the "good" card, so it is not
the image's fault (or my DD command).

So, it is still a mystery. Maybe some bug on my test program ... got to
work on this.

I'm thinking about writing a program that DSKI$ the disk and write it on
the serial line. So I can compare what the COCO is reading from the evil
disk.

Ed,

Did you got any news?
