I think there's been a lot of folks who didn't back it because they're 
not in the US and the "rewards" don't ship outside the US. I think Gary 
may have sabotaged his funding to a fair extent by adding that 
restriction though he has explained his reasoning on that. (Though his 
reasoning doesn't make sense for restricting the stickers which could 
just be put in an envelope and put in the regular post.)

If I had the financial capacity, I'd fund the project myself. Alas, I 
don't have that capacity. I have, however, upped my pledge a mount to 
the maximum I can afford. Remember, folks, you don't have to stick to 
the $250 level - you can pledge more if you want to.

And this is an important point. There's no reason to close the door on 
any discussion because one project doesn't get off the ground the first 
time it tries. Or even if ten projects failed. The fact that a handful 
of people didn't select a "reward level" either due to their location 
outside the US or for other reasons, is interesting and the fact that 22 
people so far have pledged real money for the project is also instructive.
