I remember about a year or so ago (based on my frail memory in which last
week and last year seem to be the same time) getting most of the code (I
think everything except c.comp or c.pass1/c.pass2) and trying to set it up
on Windows and Ubuntu to create a test bed for some of the c.opt (?)
optimizations that were being worked on at the time. As I recall I left off
with a weird pointer issue with Microsoft's C compiler, although I wasn't
convinced whether it was a bug in the code or a bug in Microsoft's C
compiler.

If you have the code the compiler proper, I'd love to get a copy so I can
pick up where I left off and try to get it all working locally.
