Yeah. We really need to find something "commercial" like the GuruPlug, but that doesn't take a Linux hacker to set up. The Raspberry Pi is neat, but I didn't see it as a "real thing" until I ordered an $8 case to put it in -- before it was just some open circuit board with wires coming off of it.

I am sure there is something out there -- if they can do a Pi for $25-$35, someone is bound to make something for $50 that is packaged and ready. BUT, it also needs to have the support so it can be updated and such.

The Guruplug was a failure. The company that sold it didn't even provide any details on updating the software. There was some wiki that had some hit-and-miss information and that was about it. Finally sold mind.
