Finding the source of the bug that prevents creating windows when
booting into a 6809L2 term32 screen is proving very hard to find much
less fix. Here is a work-around that will permit you to boot into a
6809L2 term80 screen but still have the ability to run old games that
work in Level2 but insist on running from a term32 screen.
Boot with the term80 screen, start an equivalent sized window or use
/w7, and place a shell there, ex. 'shell i=/w7&'. Now from term enter
'ex' , switch to the new window, and enter 'deiniz term' as many times
as needed to cause the term screen to close. Now enter 'xmode /term
par=1; shell i=/term&' and you will have changed the term80 screen to a
term32 screen.
The above can be placed into startup or a script to reduce the amount of
typing.
