THANKS JUAN!   I had been  looking (somewhat casually i must admit) for things like this, but had never seen this one before.  I will have to take a look at it.  So that I/F you are using is an MSX to IDE I take it, and it looks like you have another adapter attached to it.   Cant tell from pic what it is/does.  But anyway thanks for the info!

I use this baby, made locally:
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xSkSxfENT_0/UC27MAEta5I/AAAAAAAAAR8/TTTuO2AP1AQ/s800/20120817_002333.jpg

It's nice that it has a 512KB memory expansion too, so I can run
MSX-DOS 2 in a MSX1 computer. The other MSX you see in the background
(a Sony HB-F700 MSX2) has a faulty 3.5" drive, but I never got around
to fix it because the I/F serves me so well.

I don't know if the guys who make it have any left to sell, but it
doesn't hurt to ask:
Rogerio Belarmino <amenophis3 at gmail.com>
Ricardo Oazem <ricardo_oazem at yahoo.com.br>

Also, you may get one used by asking around in the Brazilian list.
