This makes me very glad to hear. That is exactly why I work on
DriveWire. I grew up living in rural Illinois, got a CoCo around 8-9
years old and pretty much have loved programming ever since. However,
despite my passion for the CoCo, my experience was very limited in
terms of what I got to play with. We didn't have a disk drive, we
didn't have many rompaks, and there were few people around that even
had computers. Nobody with a CoCo. My only link to the CoCo "world"
was the Rainbow, and while it was awesome every time one showed up,
about 50% of each one was articles, reviews, and ads for things I
never got to experiment with. I spent plenty of time thinking about
them though. At the same time there was the early online world,
Delphi and such, where lots of content was being shared, all
completely unknown to me.
DriveWire strives to make that whole world easily accessible to as
many folks as possible, whatever their reason for wanting to play in
it :)
