Hello
By disk format David Keil, also explained in Ira Goldklang's webside,
I think something's missing, of course I must be wrong, but still continue.
Apparently the internal management of the track, (the division by sector) is as follows:
(this should be in imitation of the floppy hardware)
A header of 82 bytes sector, except the first one has 88, in her position 41 is the sector number,
remember that the sectors are not in sequential order but according to the skip factor.
This sequence is (usually) the same for every track,
although there must be some software or hardware or use, perhaps a copy-protection
One niggle that would not let me understand the format, is the phrase
HEADER TRACK
Each Side of Each track has a 128 (80H) byte header
Each side?, The track has side?, Confounded me with the sides of the disk,
I think uhuera been better to say, at each end, or at the beginning and end. but well after 15 days at understanding.
Well at the end there is 128 bytes, does not explain where are the CRC, and that bytes are the sum cyclical,
but good. and I'll find out by reverse ingenieri like everything.
Lack of information is large, even looking for it with google,
should be concentrated. to move quickly. life is short, lol
