I have the converter. It converts the ASCII files back to the original binary format that Orch90 needs. I will send it to you. I don't have any Coco stuff on this computer.

The Orchestra 90 files are just standard basic binary files. The original
rch90 files created by the rom pac have no extension. The files created by
odel 1,3,4 and the coco orchestra master are in ascii format. If you're trying
o read the disks from my website, they were saved on DMK format disks. They
lso will not load into Orchestra90 without "conversion". Since everyone seems
o have problems with these I will re-upload them on JVC disks (converted) so
hey are more common and will play on Orch90. As far as "playing" orchestra90
iles... without a proper player, it's impossible. Unlike musica and many other
music" players, orchestra90 "compiles" it's files into playable waveforms
efore they are played. Other players just mix simple waveforms as they are
layed. This is why the Orch90 music sounds much richer than say.. Musica. Also,
he 8-bit dacs help in quality.

I am unfamiliar with "MDK". I thought you were mistyping "DMK".
The only formats I am aware of for Coco emulators are "JVC" for the JV
mulator, "DMK" for David Kiel's emulator and "VDK" for the Dragon emulator. If
> here is a "MDK" format... what emulator is it for?
