That does work well - I just set it up on my Ubuntu 10.04 LTS box with
the version of Wine that it comes with (1.2.2); it seems to work fine
(sound is a little off, though).
I haven't tried JV's emulator under DOSBox yet (a long time ago I built
an actual DOS machine just for running JV's and other emulators; that
worked very well).
