[Coco] Help with floppy disk setup - first time user

My bad...I thought the FD-500 was the first CoCo drive unit that was 12vdc.
I just realized the FD-500, or 26-3129 was a couple modles after the 26-3022
12vdc version. What model were these I wonder? Or did they just go by
their catalog numbers?

This is not correct. The FD-500 does not require 12VDC and should work fine
with the CoCo 3.

Something else must be at issue.

There aren't many reasons why the drives would not work under these
conditions. But we will need more information.
