[Coco] Odd cable

Here is a pic of a cable that came with a CCR-81 tape recorder I bought off
eBay for $15 (www.sq1bbs.com/cable.jpg). It seems to be an S-video cable
with 2 connections to it, one for the mic and one for the earphone. 

 

I sent the guy I bought it from a message asking what the cable was all
about, but he said he got it in a package deal, so he had no idea. I cannot
test it out cause I still have no Coco.

 

I sent this same message to Boisey, as I'm trying to get as much info as
possible.

 

Anyone got any ideas?
