[Coco] Assistance please

Heat problems are usually processor related -- the processor has probably been run too hot one too many times. If it uses the old style SIMMs I may have some of those I could send you free. Heat could be memory, but is still most likely the processor.

Nobody has a use for this old stuff until you throw it away! I upgraded a laptop that used a standard Celeron (instead of a special low power laptop type) with a P4 processor a couple months ago. No one will EVER want a used Celeron chip...

Is anyone out there running (or has been running) an HP Pavilion 6540C
(Intel Celeron processor w/96Mb of RAM)?

I just got one ($20 from Goodwill-my main machine keeps locking up and
quitting) and when it gets hot, it won't 'crank'. I also need the second
drive holder.
