Mark,

We always have a great time when we get together.

I had programmable logic tools then as well, simple PAL designs. I guess I should have said....If we would have had Quartus 11. power back then. :)

I can say I have never been to AU, but would like to! :)

One thing that really sux about living in Australia is missing out on all 
these events. I've been sent to Vegas 3 times this year (for a total of 9 
weeks), and AFAIK there weren't any retro events on when I was there. I'll 
most likely be back again at least once more, probably around 
August/September. So it looks like I'll miss out on VCF as well... :(

My ex-boss worked on programmable logic devices in the late 90's, and he 
told me that a lot of his compiles were over-night affairs! :O
