VERY good question Boisy!

To me, a CoCo has to be able to run most (at least 98%) of CoCo software 
natively.

It also should be hardware. The CoCo3 was a very good upgrade from the 
CoCo2 in that it was clearly still a CoCo... a grown up CoCo.   :)

A software emulation CoCo is a virtual CoCo only. It's not real. It has 
advantaged but it's missing the "soul" of the CoCo.

Also, for me personally, it has to look like a CoCo.

Which is why I think a plug in GIME replacement or a whole FPGA 
motherboard replacement into an existing CoCo2/3 case (with new badges!) 
would be a CoCo4 that still engulfs the aura of what a CoCo is.
