Not much of an answer to your question, but, I've got an FD-500 and it's a
long one...
The 26-3022 used a different chip than any of the rest, which is why it can
be converted to use HD media.
If I remember correctly. the FD-500 and the 26-3029 are pretty much the same
beast.
And IRCC the FD-501 & 502 are the same, one (FD-501) has gold connectors the
other does not...
