I did look at your entire post, and saw the Topic tree - I didn't understand
how you made that leap from A to B at the time. Didn't even think of
checking the archives since the topics didn't correlate to each other. He
probably replied to Roger's email  and changed the subject, etc... instead
of creating a new message.

I rarely look at the archives, unless I;m looking for something I've deleted
from my folders.

Used to happen to me all the time when I used Yahoo. Haven't had the problem
since I switched to Gmail - though since you have a Gmail account, I can see
it isn't flawless...
