9/11 has over shadowed this date, another which will live in infamy.

There is an effort to get the few remaining survivors to attend the 
ceremonies on the Arizona today, but since they are all in at least their 
late 80's, time is running out to get their stories recorded.  Every year 
there are fewer and they become more infirm, so if we don't get the history 
down now, we will never again have the opportunity to do it since I believe 
there are less than 100 left now.

These men were as close as they could get to hell as you can imagine, and 
many did not survive to tell their stories, but their actions still deserve 
to be honored.
