I was going to stay quiet on this whole issue, but apparently the truth needs to be stated again.
Roger is not a victim.
Roger is unethical.
Case in point: Roger has used of my time and work to advance his own work at the expense of mine. At his request, I gave him an advance copy of HDB-DOS (which he promised to buy), only to discover months later that he was coming out with a competing product.
He has never paid for the copy I sent to him. He has never apologized. In Roger's eyes, he has done nothing wrong.
It is one thing to put out a competing product in a small market. It's an entirely different matter when you do it on the back of the people who have the competing product.
This is unethical.
Period.
