[Coco] megaread benchmarking

Please, let's not dig up 4 day old emails and reignite a situation that was
winding down? If someone MUST comment on this stuff, please, for the love of
God, take it off list...

None of this is good for Cloud9, Roger or the CoCo community as a whole...
