Gene, my (slightly) elder brother.  A new wheel is often built.  Once in a (long) while it's round instead of the previous square or triangle shapes.  The builder is then lynched, since "that's not how _my_ grandpaw (and in evolution, that grandpaw didn't have opposable thumbs) did it".
